Power and influence. Even the smallest organisation holds power and influence. And the key to deepening your impact is to start letting go of your power - to empower others to build their capability to influence their world.
The Ladder of Co-Production is a framework to help you understand the level of participation and influence others will have in your work.
Two key questions to ask yourself:
START OUT THERE: What is our community’s expectations about their level of participation and influence?
BEFORE LOOKING IN HERE: What capabilities do we need to achieve this? What would help our organisation to work at that level?
Credit must go to many good people and organisations who have developed the thinking behind the Ladder of Co-Production, including Sheery Arnstein, the New Economics Foundation, NESTA and Think Local Act Personal.
